“Organics with purpose”, is Allium’s new positioning line, but what does this mean?
Over the last couple of years, we have been slowly moving the focus of our organics business to the production of Low Carbon fertilisers and Soil Conditioners, for beneficial use on agricultural land.
This is not to the detriment of our traditional land restoration schemes, but an expansion of operations, to offer an agricultural alternative to Chemical Based fertilisers. Last year we produced over 40,000 tonnes of Low Carbon compost / fertiliser, all of which only a few years ago would have been disposed of to landfill.
